The birth of a child is always a miracle and life changing moment in a woman’s life.

I have always been in awe of the miracle of birth. Since I was a child, I would listen attentively to my aunt’s stories about her experiences as a Doula and mom of 7, sometimes I would help her in her work.  After University, I started my professional career in a the field of communication sciences and TV and cinematic production, but after I had my first 2 children my passion for birth became my job, and I love it. I have been a Doula since 2003, and I currently run the FDSR, Doula training in french.

I am passionate about birth and about helping women to have a positive birth experience.   I am honored and privileged to be a part of a couple’s birth experience and the welcoming of a new baby in to our world .  I absolutely love to see a mother empowered and able to trust her inner wisdom and draw upon her inner strength.

PRE-NATALLY

We discuss your choices as we work towards understanding your preference and writing a birth plan.

I will explain the different comfort measures for labor and birth and how they help.

AT BIRTH

WIll help you create a calm environment in your birth place (mason de naissance, home or hospital or clinic

I will work, in addition to the midwife and or doctor to help you have an effective and comfortable labour through relaxation, different positions, movements etc.

I will help you understand the different procedures or phases of labor.

If you wish I can take modest pictures.

POST-NATALLY

Will meet you once or twice postnatally to talk about the birth experience and to talk about the baby-moon. I can help with the very beginning of breastfeeding and point towards other support available.
